AMTECH Electrical Limited is an established NICEIC Approved Contractor based in Camberley. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and fully qualified electrician to join our expanding team.
This is a varied role covering commercial, industrial and domestic projects rather than being limited to one type of installation. Our engineers work across Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and surrounding areas.
Position Summary
- Salary: £45,000–£52,000 per annum for PAYE candidates, depending on experience

The Role
You will complete electrical installation, alteration, maintenance, fault-finding and testing work across a varied customer base.
Typical Work Includes
- Electrical installations, alterations and upgrades
- Electrical maintenance and fault finding
- Testing and inspection
- Emergency lighting
- Fire alarm systems
- Data and networking installations
- CCTV and security systems
- Lighting and power installations
Key Responsibilities
- Complete electrical work safely and to a high professional standard
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out appropriate repairs
- Work in accordance with current electrical regulations and safety requirements
- Complete testing, certification and job documentation accurately
- Communicate professionally with customers, site managers and colleagues
- Work independently when required and contribute effectively as part of the team
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional working environment
Essential Requirements
- Minimum five years’ relevant electrical experience
- Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- Valid ECS card
- Fully qualified through City & Guilds, JIB or an equivalent recognised route
- Experience within commercial, industrial or domestic electrical work
- Full valid driving licence
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Professional, well-presented, punctual and reliable
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Existing legal right to live and work in the UK
Desirable Experience
- Experience across commercial, industrial and domestic sectors
- Testing and Inspection qualifications
- Fire alarm or emergency-lighting experience
- Data, networking, CCTV or security-system experience
- IPAF or PASMA qualifications

Location and Right to Work
The role involves travelling to customer sites across Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and surrounding areas.
It is best suited to applicants living within reasonable travelling distance of Camberley—ideally within approximately 10 miles.
